§ 5101.061

Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly (A) There is hereby established in the department of job and family services the office of human services innovation. The office shall develop recommendations, as described in division (B) of this section, regarding the coordination and reform of state programs to assist the residents of this state in preparing for life and the dignity of work and to promote individual responsibility and work opportunity. The director of job and family services shall establish the office's organizational structure, may reassign the department's staff and resources as necessary to support the office's activities, and is responsible for the office's operations. The department of education and workforce, chancellor of higher education, and director of the governor's office of workforce transformation shall assist the director of job and family services with leadership and organizational support for the office. (B) Not later than January 1, 2015, the office shall submit to the governor recommendations for all of the following: (1) Coordinating services across all public assistance programs to help individuals find

(C) Not later than three months after September 15, 2014, the office shall establish clear principles to guide the development of its recommendations, shall identify in detail the problems to be addressed in the recommendations, and shall make an inventory of all state and other resources that the office considers relevant to the recommendations. (D) The office shall convene the directors and staff of the departments, agencies, offices, boards, commissions, and institutions of the executive branch of the state as necessary to develop the office's recommendations.
