Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly If a person requests the department of job and family services to conduct a search of whether that person's name has been placed or remains in the statewide automated child welfare information system as an alleged perpetrator of child abuse or neglect and a search reveals that a 'substantiated' disposition exists, the department shall send a letter to the person who requested the search indicating a 'match.'
