Effective: January 1, 2025 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly In addition to the remedies available under sections 5101.146 and 5101.24 of the Revised Code, the department of children and youth may certify a claim to the attorney general under section 131.02 of the Revised Code for the attorney general to take action under that section against a public children services agency, private child placing agency, private noncustodial agency, or government entity that provides Title IV-E reimbursable placement services to children if all of the following are the case: (A) The agency or entity files a cost report with the department pursuant to rules adopted under division (B) of section 5101.141 of the Revised Code. (B) The department receives and distributes federal Title IV-E reimbursement funds based on the cost report.
