Effective: January 1, 2025 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly If the department of children and youth sanctions a public children services agency, private child placing agency, or private noncustodial agency, it shall take every possible precaution to ensure that any foster children that have been placed by the agency under sanction are not unnecessarily removed from the certified foster homes in which they reside.
