Effective: January 1, 2025 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly (A) Every other year by a date specified in rules adopted under section 5103.0316 of the Revised Code, each private child placing agency and private noncustodial agency that seeks to operate a preplacement training program or continuing training program under section 5103.034 of the Revised Code shall submit to the department of children and youth a proposal outlining the program. The proposal may be the same as, a modification of, or different from, a model design developed by the department. (B) Not later than thirty days after receiving a proposal under division (A) of this section, the department shall either approve or disapprove the proposed program. The department shall approve a proposed preplacement training program if it complies with rules adopted under section 5103.0316 of the Revised Code, as appropriate, and, in the case of a proposal submitted by an agency operating a preplacement training program at the time the proposal is submitted, the department is satisfied with the agency's operation of the program.
