Effective: October 17, 2019 Latest Legislation: House Bill 166 - 133rd General Assembly A child and the child's caretaker who are otherwise ineligible for publicly funded child care are eligible for homeless child care for the lesser of the following: (A) Not more than ninety days; (B) The period of time they reside in a facility providing emergency shelter for homeless families or the period of time in which the county department determines they are homeless.
