Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly The courses of study for the instruction and training of all persons in institutions under the control of the department of mental health and addiction services shall be subject to the approval of the superintendent of public instruction. All teachers employed in institutions under the control of the department of mental health and addiction services shall possess such educator licenses or have such qualifications and approval as the superintendent of public instruction, after consulting with the officers in charge of the institutions, prescribes for the various types of service in the institutions.
