Effective: June 30, 1995 Latest Legislation: House Bill 117 - 121st General Assembly Each managing officer of an institution under the jurisdiction of the department of rehabilitation and correction, based upon a recommendation of the institution's joint labor management committee, may establish a local institution fund that shall be designated the vending commission fund and that shall be created and maintained for the benefit and welfare of the employees of that institution. The fund shall receive the profits from vending commission areas that are designated solely for use by department of rehabilitation and correction employees. The director of rehabilitation and correction shall establish rules for the operation of employee vending commission funds.
