Effective: October 6, 2009 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 79 - 128th General Assembly The department of developmental disabilities may subpoena witnesses, take testimony under oath, and examine any public records relating to the income and other assets of a resident or liable relative. All information, conclusions, and recommendations shall be submitted to the department by the investigating agent of the department. The department shall determine the amount of support to be paid, by whom, and whether clothing shall be furnished by the relatives or guardian.
