Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly (A) Any person who has been charged under section 5121.33 or 5121.35 of the Revised Code may petition the department of mental health and addiction services to do the following: (1) Release the person from a charge;(2) Modify or cancel a charge.(B) The department shall respond to a petition in writing and inform the petitioner of whether a release, modification, or cancellation has been approved.
