Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly When a patient is committed to a hospital pursuant to judicial proceedings, the judge ordering the commitment shall: (A) Make a reliable report on the financial condition of the patient and of each liable relative, as provided in rules adopted by the director of mental health and addiction services;(B) Certify the report required under division (A) of this section to the managing officer of the hospital. The managing officer shall thereupon enter in the managing officer's records the name and address of any guardian appointed and of any relative liable for the patient's support.
