Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly In case the estate of any patient in a hospital is sufficient for the patient's support and no guardian has been appointed for such estate, the agent of the department of mental health and addiction services shall petition the probate court of the proper county to appoint a guardian.
