Effective: June 6, 2001 Latest Legislation: House Bill 94 - 124th General Assembly If during the course of the review conducted under section 5126.31 of the Revised Code or the investigation conducted under section 5126.313 of the Revised Code, any person denies or obstructs the board's access to the residence of the adult who is the subject of the review or investigation, the board may file a petition with the probate court of the county in which the residence is located for a temporary restraining order, in accordance with Civil Rule 65, to prevent the denial or obstruction of access. If the court finds reasonable cause to believe that the adult is abused or neglected and that access to the adult's residence has been denied or obstructed, the court shall issue a temporary order restraining the interference or obstruction. After the order has been obtained, at the request of the board, an officer of the law enforcement agency investigating the report shall accompany representatives of the board to the adult's residence.If a person refuses to allow or interferes with the provision of services described in division (C) of section 5126.31 of the Revised Code to an adult who has
