Effective: October 1, 1997 Latest Legislation: House Bill 408 - 122nd General Assembly All employees of the public children services agency shall be in the classified civil service. The agency may establish compensation rates and vacation benefits for any of its employees. Insofar as practicable, all employees holding positions in the classified service, whose duties are transferred by this section to the agency, shall be continued, with like status, by the appointing authority before any other appointments are made. This chapter shall not affect the civil service status of any employee.
