Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly The department of medicaid may enter into contracts with private entities to maximize federal revenue without the expenditure of state money. In selecting private entities with which to contract, the department shall engage in a request for proposals process. The department, subject to the approval of the controlling board, may also directly enter into contracts with public entities providing revenue maximization services.
