Effective: January 1, 2015 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 276 - 130th General Assembly The department of medicaid may enter into a provider agreement as provided in section 5165.07 of the Revised Code, rather than section 5165.511 or 5165.512 of the Revised Code, with an entering operator if the entering operator does not agree to a provider agreement that satisfies the requirements of division (A)(3) of section 5165.513 of the Revised Code. The department may not enter into the provider agreement unless the department of health certifies the nursing facility for participation in medicaid. The effective date of the provider agreement shall not precede any of the following:(A) The date that the department of health certifies the nursing facility;(B) The effective date of the change of operator;(C) The date the requirement of section 5165.51 of the Revised Code is satisfied.
