Effective: September 17, 1996 Latest Legislation: House Bill 572 - 121st General Assembly All duties, powers, and functions conferred by law on the department of transportation and the divisions of the department shall be performed under such rules as the director of transportation may prescribe, and shall be under the director's control. The director shall appoint such employees of the department as are necessary, and shall prescribe their titles and duties.
