Effective: June 30, 2003 Latest Legislation: House Bill 87 - 125th General Assembly All expenditures for the administration and enforcement of motor vehicle and traffic laws by the department of public safety shall be paid out of moneys derived from fees, excises, or license taxes relating to registration, operation, or use of vehicles on public highways or to fuels used for propelling such vehicles as provided in Section 5a of Article XII, Ohio Constitution.
