Effective: September 29, 2015 Latest Legislation: House Bill 64 - 131st General Assembly There is hereby created in the state treasury the Ohio investigative unit fund. The fund shall consist of any nonfederal money received by the investigative unit of the department of public safety that is not otherwise required to be deposited into another fund under any provision of the Revised Code. The director of public safety shall use the money in the fund to pay the expenses of administering the law relative to the powers and duties of the investigative unit. All investment earnings shall be retained by the fund.
