Effective: June 30, 1999 Latest Legislation: House Bill 163 - 123rd General Assembly Enforcement agents of the department of public safety shall comply with the certification requirements established in section 109.77 of the Revised Code, take an oath of office, and receive from the governor, upon recommendation of the director of public safety, a commission indicating authority to make arrests as provided in section 5502.14 of the Revised Code.
