Effective: October 29, 1995 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 162 - 121st General Assembly Notwithstanding any inconsistent provisions of law, persons engaged in emergency management activities, members of emergency management agencies in this state, and members of the emergency management agencies of other states or of the federal government or of another country or of a province or subdivision thereof performing emergency management services at any place in this state pursuant to agreements, compacts, or arrangements for mutual aid and assistance, to which the state or a political subdivision thereof is a party, shall possess the same powers, duties, immunities, and privileges they would ordinarily possess if performing their duties in the jurisdiction in which normally employed or rendering services.
