Effective: October 29, 1995 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 162 - 121st General Assembly Except as provided in this section, sections 5502.21 to 5502.51 of the Revised Code and rules adopted under those sections do not apply to any activity carried out under Chapter 3750. of the Revised Code.A countywide or regional director/coordinator of emergency management appointed under section 5502.26 or 5502.27, or a director/coordinator appointed under 5502.271 of the Revised Code, respectively, may serve on the local emergency planning committee appointed under Chapter 3750. of the Revised Code for the emergency planning district that includes his county or counties and may, if so appointed, also serve as chairperson of that committee. Any director/coordinator serving on such a committee shall incorporate any plans developed by the committee into his county's or counties' planning and preparedness activities with regard to hazards involving hazardous materials.
