Effective: August 8, 1991 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 144 - 119th General Assembly In addition to the powers and duties of the state highway patrol set forth in section 5503.02 of the Revised Code and subject to the limitations of section 5503.01 of the Revised Code, a state highway patrol trooper shall arrest any person found committing a misdemeanor within the bounds of rest areas or roadside parks within the limits of the right-of-way of interstate highways and other state highways, or in violation of section 5515.07 of the Revised Code in other areas within the limits of the right-of-way of interstate highways.
