Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of county commissioners of a county in which there is a toll bridge, or a bridge owned by a person or corporation authorized by law to charge and collect toll for crossing it, may purchase such bridge, with the approaches, at a price agreed upon by the board and the owners of the bridge. If such board is unable to agree with the owners upon such purchase and sale the board may appropriate the bridge.
