Effective: March 14, 2003 Latest Legislation: House Bill 675 - 124th General Assembly When a veteran is entitled to admission into a veterans' home, the chairperson of the veterans service commission of the county in which the veteran resides, upon application, may furnish the veteran transportation to the home by the most direct route from the veteran's residence. The transportation shall be paid from the veterans service commission fund of the county.
