Effective: September 18, 1997 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 130 - 122nd General Assembly A commissioned or warrant officer of the Ohio national guard may be honorably discharged by the governor as commander in chief upon the officer's resignation, in conformity with the requirements of the department of the army or air force and the national guard bureau, but the officer shall not be discharged until the officer has accounted for all state and United States property and all public moneys for which the officer is responsible.
