Effective: September 23, 2008 Latest Legislation: House Bill 562 - 127th General Assembly The cost of the acquisition or construction of sanitary or drainage facilities or prevention or replacement facilities to be paid by assessments shall be assessed, as an assessment district assessment, upon all the property within the county sewer district found to be benefited in accordance with the special benefits conferred, less any part of the cost that is paid by the county at large from other available funds. State land so benefited shall bear its portion of the assessed cost.
