Effective: November 1, 1977 Latest Legislation: House Bill 219 - 112th General Assembly The commission shall appoint a clerk, treasurer, and auditor. If the commission is the commission of a village, the commission shall also appoint a solicitor. If the commission is the commission of a city, the commission shall also appoint a city director of law. Provision may be made by ordinance for the performance of the duties of clerk and treasurer by the same person.
