Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly In municipal corporations adopting the federal plan of government under sections 705.71 to 705.86, inclusive, of the Revised Code, the powers conferred upon municipal corporations by the Ohio Constitution, and any additional powers conferred upon municipal corporations by the general assembly shall be exercised by the officers and authorities provided for in such sections, unless such powers have been expressly conferred upon some other authority of the municipal corporation or reserved to the people thereof.
