Effective: December 1, 1967 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 220 - 107th General Assembly The clerk or clerk of council of a municipal corporation shall notify the board of elections of all vacancies caused by death, resignation, or otherwise in the elective offices of the municipal corporation. Such notification shall be made in writing and filed not later than ten days after the vacancy occurs with the board of elections of the county or counties in which the municipal corporation is located.The clerk or clerk of council of a municipal corporation shall notify the board of elections of all changes in the boundaries of the municipal corporation. Such notification shall be made in writing and contain a plat clearly showing all boundary changes and shall be filed with the board of elections of the county or counties in which the municipal corporation is located within thirty days after such change occurs.
