Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Any person who lays out a village or an addition to a municipal corporation, and neglects to plant the cornerstones therein, or causes such village or addition to be surveyed or platted in any manner other than that prescribed in sections 711.01 to 711.13, inclusive, of the Revised Code, shall forfeit and pay one hundred dollars and costs of suit, to be recovered in a civil action in the name of the county treasurer, for the use of the county.
