Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Any municipal corporation may:(A) Provide for the public health;(B) Secure the inhabitants of the municipal corporation from the evils of contagious, malignant, and infectious diseases;(C) Purchase or lease property or buildings for pesthouses;(D) Erect, maintain, and regulate pesthouses, hospitals, and infirmaries.
