Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The legislative authority of a village shall provide a seal for the village clerk, in the center of which shall be the name of the village, and around the margin 'Village Clerk,' an impression of which seal shall be affixed to all transcripts, orders, certificates, or other papers requiring authentication.
