Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The legislative authority of a municipal corporation may send any of the officers and firemen of its fire department to schools of instruction designed to promote the efficiency of firemen, and, if authorized in advance, may pay their necessary expenses from the funds used for the maintenance and operation of such department.
