Effective: November 2, 1999 Latest Legislation: House Bill 222 - 123rd General Assembly In lieu of an employer contribution to pay part of the cost of the benefits provided under section 742.52 of the Revised Code, the treasurer of state shall make a payment to the Ohio police and fire pension fund in August 1981 and each August thereafter from appropriations made for the purpose by the general assembly.
