Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The director of public safety may discharge, for good and sufficient cause, a person committed to the workhouse. A record of all such discharges shall be kept and reported to the legislative authority of the municipal corporation in the annual report of such director, with a brief statement of the reasons therefor.
