Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of county commissioners may unite with any municipal corporation located in the county in the acquisition or erection, management, and maintenance of a workhouse for the joint use of such county and municipal corporation, upon such terms as they may agree, and the board may levy and collect the necessary funds therefor from the taxable property of the county.
