Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of park commissioners, after the appointment and qualification of its members, shall elect one of such members president and another vice-president, who, in the absence or disability of the president, shall perform his duties and exercise his powers. The board shall make its own rules, its meetings shall be open to the public, and all questions acted upon shall be decided by a yea and nay vote with the name of each member voting recorded on the journal. No question shall be decided unless it is approved by a majority of the board.
