Effective: October 29, 2003 Latest Legislation: House Bill 143 - 125th General Assembly Any lot of agricultural, vegetable, or flower seed not in compliance with sections 907.01 to 907.17 of the Revised Code shall be subject to seizure on complaint of the director of agriculture to a court of competent jurisdiction in the locality in which the seed is located. If the court orders the condemnation of the seed, the seed shall be denatured, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of in compliance with the laws of this state, provided that the court shall not order such disposition without giving the claimant an opportunity to apply to the court for the release of the seed or for permission to process or relabel it so as to be in compliance with sections 907.01 to 907.17 of the Revised Code.
