A. To aid in the more effective administration of the statutes relating to juveniles and for the purpose of counsel and advice, there is created a citizens' advisory committee consisting of a minimum of seven members, to serve without pay, appointed by the judge of the Juvenile Division assigned to try juvenile cases, who shall serve for a period of four (4) years and until their successors are appointed. B. The membership of such committee shall contain an official or employee of the public schools of the county, a professional social worker employed by any recognized social agency in the county, a member of the board of county commissioners of the county, an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma to be selected by the members of the County Bar Association of the county, and three other members selected at will by the judge of the Juvenile Division; and of the seven members, three shall be women, and all members shall, at the date of their appointment, be legal residents of the county.Added by Laws 1968, c. 282, § 209, eff.
