§ 11-16-111

Any candidate who is unopposed for an office in a partisan primary election shall be deemed nominated and so certified; and his or her name shall not appear on the primary election ballot. If there are unopposed candidates for each of the offices which are up for election, no primary election shall be held. Added by Laws 1977, c. 256, § 16-111, eff. July 1, 1978.
