The resolution declaring the change of name of the municipality shall be recorded in the office of the county clerk in the county in which the situs of the municipal government is located and filed in the office of the Secretary of State and in the archives of the municipality. The resolution shall also be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipality. Laws 1977, c. 256, § 19-104, eff. July 1, 1978.
