For the purposes of Sections 33-101 through 33-115 of this title, the term 'governing body' means any city council, city commission, town board of trustees, board of county commissioners, school board, or other body acting in lieu thereof, in the State of Oklahoma. The term 'governmental unit' means any city, town, school district, or county in the State of Oklahoma. Laws 1977, c. 256, § 33-102, eff. July 1, 1978.
