Any municipality may make, adopt, amend, extend, add to, or carry out a municipal plan as provided in this article and create by ordinance a planning commission with the powers and duties herein set forth. The planning commission shall be designated as the city planning commission. Laws 1977, c. 256, § 47-102, eff. July 1, 1978.
