Obligation of Good Faith. Every contract of duty within the Uniform Commercial Code imposes an obligation of good faith in its performance and enforcement. Breach of the obligation of good faith imposed by this section shall not give rise to a separate tort cause of action.Added by Laws 2005, c. 139, § 17, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
