Nothing contained in this act shall be deemed to authorize the adoption of charter provisions contrary to or inconsistent with the sovereignty and established public policies of this state and no provision having such effect shall be valid. Added by Laws 1992, c. 220, § 5, eff. Sept. 1, 1992.
