Nothing in this act shall be deemed to exclude a county from supervision and control of the county roads in a district or to relieve the county from any duty or obligation to improve and maintain such county roads. The authority and powers of such districts shall be in addition to those of the counties and shall be carried out in cooperation with such counties. Added by Laws 1986, c. 93, § 18, eff.
