A. It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly place upon any livestock a brand which has not been registered with the statewide livestock organization if the brand duplicates one that is registered. B. For purposes of this section, 'duplication' means the use of a similar brand in any location on the animal designated for a registered brand.Added by Laws 1955, p. 31, art. 4, § 6, emerg. eff.
