Any person who promotes a pyramid promotional scheme shall be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, shall be punishable by a fine of not more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) or by imprisonment in the State Penitentiary for not more than ten (10) years, or by both such fine and imprisonment, for each violation of this act. Added by Laws 1995, c. 186, § 3, eff. Nov. 1, 1995. Amended by Laws 1997, c. 133, § 285, eff. July 1, 1999; Laws 1999, 1st Ex.Sess., c. 5, § 187, eff.
