When any person is suspended from office by any court under the provisions of this section, said court shall certify the fact of such suspension to the proper officer or authority provided by law to fill a vacancy in such office. Such office shall be filled during the suspension in like manner as provided by law for filling vacancies in such offices. R.L.1910, § 2582.
